Vampires and stories revolving around these mythical creatures have been continuously botched in Hollywood. From the action-packed Van Helsing by Hugh Jackman to the sub-par movie Underworld to the Twilight Saga, vampires have been central in stories where you must depict a bloodsucking monster and create a mythical fad around them and the other characters for the movie. The newest movie that also uses the vampire take involves a well-beloved American President. The ring of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is somehow humorous to the ordinary citizen as it is hard to imagine that Honest Abe can swath past bloodsuckers with an ax. Well, the title doesn’t say much about the movie.

The plot of Abraham Lincoln: The Vampire Hunter is based on Seth Grahame-Smith’s novel that tells of the secret diary of Abe and his dealings with vampires in his life’s history. The story works around the death of his mother at the hands of Jack Barts — a business person by day and vampire by night. Lincoln waited for his revenge and was trained in the art by Henry Sturgess, something like a Richter Belmont type of fighter. He imparted Lincoln the skills needed like ax-wielding

and all information that is needed to exorcise the creatures. As Henry warned him that he should desolate himself from the worries that society…
